Why this Blog is Here instead of There

Marta Perrupato from the Control Network office has set up the Blogs and the Network wants everything linked on Blog Spot. However, I have been having compatibility probs with my Mac and Blog Spot–and having spent altogether too much time trying to get it to work, concluded that the best solution was to stay blogging through Word Press.

I want my time to be devoted to content about the summit, not pulling my hair out trying to post. So thank you for your understanding.

Meanwhile, of course, it is the day before leaving for a 5-day conference. So I have about a thousand things to cross off my to-do list before getting on my way.

Welcome

I have been lucky enough to receive a “blogging scholarship” from the National LGBT Tobacco Network to attend the LGBT Health Summit conference. I’m excited because I’ve never attended the national Health Summit , and have always wanted to know more about what I missed. This may not provide a complete overview of the conference, but you’ll at least get to see some of what I don’t miss.

In case you can’t tell, I am new to blogging. So please forgive any basic protocol errors and feel free to enlighten me.
